Role:
The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy. Position works internally with executives across multiple functions while also spending significant time working externally across the broader market and with our clients. In addition to helping the marketing team become best in class, he leads the development and implementation of strategies that deliver growth. The manager plays an essential role in creating and implementing a strategic marketing plan that includes research, analytics, branding, communications, and product management.

Main responsibilities and activities:

Facilitate strategy development and planning for marketing business lines, sectors, product areas and technology. Once the marketing strategy is defined, manage projects with the Marketing Business Managers
Set specific marketing objectives in line with the overall direction and business objectives
Act as a leader and coach in helping the company adopt a visionary mindset. This means working closely with the research team and other functions to discover new customer and market insights, engage the right individual customers, implement our recommendation at the highest level and ultimately deliver operational excellence.
Gain a broad understanding of business beyond marketing and be a leader in supporting the company’s cornerstone goals ranging from growth to operations
Identify internal/external resources to address the opportunity.
Manage the process to facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer, including monthly/quarterly analysis, reporting and planning forums
Train others to think more strategically and act as a mentor to colleagues who wish to move into a strategic marketing role in the future
Track and measure marketing results including marketing activities, response, sales, retention and return on investment
– Reviewing the market landscape, anticipating trends of market dynamics and competition and proposing marketing strategies
– Supervising the development of the marketing roadmap for each sector.
Prepare B2C business plan and present various scenarios to senior management in line with the company’s strategy.
Defining goals and performance across KPIs.
Responsible for overall current consumer products and services, revenue and profitability, by analyzing profits and losses, monitoring and adjusting forecasts, setting prices and creating a value proposition.
Develop marketing management materials for analysis.
Lead process and tool change initiatives, including capacity measurement, performance tracking, account planning, opportunity management, etc. Create best practices.
Partnerships with key categories (finance, marketing, human resources, etc.) in measuring and analyzing business performance and effectiveness including achievement against financial targets, customer satisfaction criteria and resource allocation criteria.

qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

8-9 years of experience is required depending on the progression ladder.
Strong knowledge of the telecom industry, products and services.
Strong knowledge of local market conditions.
Ability to work in a diverse multicultural and multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.
Oral/written communication fluent in English. Arabic feature.

– Good presentation skills.
