1- Review GL accounts on daily basis and record all necessary transactions when needed.
2- Follow up the receipt of the purchased goods with their shipping expenses invoices from the order planning department weekly for accounting. (Invoices such as: supplier invoice, customs report, freight invoice, clearance invoice, etc…).
3- Monitor the report of purchase orders pending invoicing on a weekly basis, to ensure proper booking and allocation of all shipping expenses, item receipts invoice and shipment closing.
4- Monitoring the discrepancies between the value of the item receipts and the value of the supplier’s invoice and the discrepancy report, if any, to request the Planning Department to ensure the receipt of a credit note for the seller’s account statement account.
5- Follow up the receipt of trademark and advertising invoices from the marketing and production departments on a weekly basis for the purpose of accounting.
6- Follow up on receiving invoices for processing employee visas from the Human Resources Department on a weekly basis for the purpose of accounting.
7- Update petty cash on the system on a weekly basis, monitor proper use of the fund, and report any misuse of cash spent to the management, if it goes against the company’s internal policies or is released without prior approval of the concerned managers/supervisors.
8- Reviewing and recording all kinds of expenses and proposing cost reduction.
9- Assisting in completing and accurate income statements for each month.

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance.
Accounting experience: 1-5 years
Software knowledge: Microsoft Office experience and knowledge in Oracle/Netsuite are an added advantage.
