North Rixos Qetaifan Island

Opening in mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will consist of a 345-room hotel, along with an 11,000 square meter rental market, a beach club, a theme park, and a water park. The resort will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Set to make its debut ahead of the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform to showcase Qatar as a tourist destination. One of the country’s biggest attractions will be the water park on Qetaifan Island North, the Icon Tower, the tallest tower of its kind in the world, reaching 82 meters in height.

IT manager

This position is responsible for overseeing and handling day-to-day IT operations. The IT Manager ensures that timely IT support is provided to all departments, particularly in areas where there are guest contacts. He will be responsible for managing the inventory of all hardware, software, and software licenses.

What will you do:

– Management and support of all systems in the hotel and water park
– Provide IT troubleshooting for guests internally
– Coordination, management and supervision of projects and documentation process
Conduct regular system health checks and capacity studies to ensure optimal performance of servers and networks
Manage system changes with appropriate support staff to ensure uninterrupted services
Liaise with suppliers and work with users at all levels
Maintain an inventory of all hardware, software, and software licenses
Develop and manage all employee training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, and providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
Continuously monitor team members’ appearance, behavior, and degree of professionalism
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times

Your experience and skills include:

Degree/Diploma in Information Technology
At least 2-4 years of experience as an IT manager in a five-star luxury hotel
– Fluency in reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
– Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
– Knowledge of Windows operating system
