What will you do:
Management: Responsible for the strategic management of IT which includes managing relationships with Hotel Managers, EXCOM, HODs and other business critical users. Responsible for proper business planning and budgeting of hotel IT expenditures, as well as compliance with Accor’s IT policies and guidelines. A feasibility study is created to justify the investments and expenditures to support the approval process. Responsible for regular status report on actual hotel IT status to General Manager and Vice President IT/Customer Service Manager/New Development. Initiates and manages IT projects and advises the General Manager on strategic IT issues related to the hotel. Talent development and performance management are also part of this role.

Hardware: Ensures hotel work with Accor Hardware partners. He has a good relationship with hardware partners. Supports the hotel in resolving hardware issues by escalating issues with hardware partners. Devices are: computers, servers, routers, switches, cables, switches, monitors, monitors, point of sale devices and all related interfaces, UPS units, related devices and other active components.

Program: Ensures that all Accor IT policies and guidelines are implemented in the hotel. Ensures that genuine and licensed application software runs correctly in accordance with IT department policy and requirements only on the hotel’s computer systems and hardware. Enjoys good relationship with software suppliers. Supports the hotel in resolving software issues by escalating issues to software vendors.

User: Ensures that no user in the hotel has access to software other than what is required to perform the function. He/she is responsible for providing and maintaining a training program (in coordination with the training department). This is to enable the best possible knowledge, skill level and use of the systems by all the staff in the hotel.

SECURITY / DATASAFE: Responsible for the hotel’s compliance with Accor’s IT security policy. Responsible for backing up all relevant user-generated data, whether it is part of the public system or personal systems. It assures that the relevant backup policies are always duly respected, and the system reaches the highest level of security.

The job also includes the day-to-day operations of the combined hotels, implementation, upgrades and enhancements to brand standards, technologies, systems, and various new projects and in new and existing hotels. These systems include (and may not be limited to):

Server infrastructure – physical and virtual

– Networking – data, voice and Wi-Fi
Strategic IT management includes coordination with General Motors and hoteliers in collaboration with Hotel GM to ensure that the company’s brand standards are implemented. This also includes sharing industry updates and how IT can help build and enhance operational efficiency
Replace or upgrade the Property Management Systems (PMS) and Sales and Supply System (S&C)
Central File (CP) solutions
Central Reservation Systems (CRS)
Revenue Management Systems (RMS)
– Various middleware/interfaces
Data Warehouse, Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) – Interface only
Sales Force Automation (SFA) – Interface
– Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Point of sale application
Back office accounting software application
Purchasing and inventory management application
– IP TV
Human resource management system
– ACCOR brand signature systems (commercial systems, WIFI everywhere, etc…)
Your experience and skills include:
– Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.
– 05 years or more in the same location at 05 * Chain Hotel.
Good knowledge of hotel applications.
– Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Clearly communicate ideas, actions, and opportunities with strong communication skills
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the stage for high performance
