Director General of School Affairs congratulates Bahraini students on winning ALECSO award

Manama, September 9 (BNA): A number of students from the Kingdom of Bahrain’s public schools are part of a delegation participating in the “ALECSO Olympiad” competitions that it held Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO) Awarded for Best Research in Social Impact.


On this occasion, the Director General of School Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Muhammad Mubarak bin Ahmed, congratulated the student Sharifa Al-Thawadi from Zenobia Intermediate School for Girls, the school principal, Nasreen Reda Haider, and the student Zahra Mustafa from Al-Malikiyah Primary School. The middle school for girls, the principal of the school, Wedad Al-Bangdir Al-Dosari, the student Abdullah Buchiri from Al-Hadd Primary School for Boys, the principal of the school, Yousef Yaqoub Al-Quoz, as well as Sheikha Al-Shrooqi, the educational specialist. The award-winning Bahraini students were honored at a ceremony held at the university headquarters Alexo, in the Tunisian Republic. They participated in the competitions among 18 student delegations from various Arab countries.


The Director General of School Affairs praised the high academic level of the Bahraini students, which qualifies them to compete in various regional and international competitions. He referred to the advanced educational system in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its focus on academic acquisition and refining skills and abilities.
