Director-General of Civil Defence participates in 54th session of International Civil Defence Organisation Executive Council

Geneva, October 28 (BNA) The Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier Ali Muhammad Al-Houti, participated in the 54th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defense Organization in Geneva.

The Director-General stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve sustainable development goals through joint efforts between ministries and authorities to create a safe environment for growth.

The attendees talked about the Ministry of Interior’s strategy aimed at enhancing the skills of the workforce, enhancing readiness and benefiting from modern technology. The Ministry’s efforts to confront challenges and reduce the negative effects of disasters and accidents were also highlighted.
