The Hyde Hotel Dubai Business Bay, a five-star hotel, opened its doors in the fourth quarter of 2021. The 276 rooms, all with balconies, consist of a mixture of deluxe standard rooms and deluxe suites overlooking the Dubai Canal, the Dubai skyline and the city. The iconic Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world.

Hyde Hotel Dubai will feature three incredible culinary experiences including a Mediterranean concept, Cleo Mediterráneo, contemporary Japanese from Katsuya, and handcrafted burgers from Hudson Tavern. Also on the property is The Perq, a coffee concept, lobby lounge, pool and Hyde lounge as well as a spa, men/female salon, fitness center, pool and retail area. The hotel’s public areas, guest rooms and Cleo were designed by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. Katsuya, Hudson Tavern, and Hyde pool and lounge designed by Tristan Plessis Studio.

Location

To assist the Marketing and Communications Manager in formulating, developing and managing the hotel’s comprehensive digital marketing strategy, in order to enhance the corporate identity and efficiently implement internal and external digital projects and initiatives.

Main roles and responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual hotel digital marketing plan
– Developing a comprehensive presence on social media (annual plan and monthly plan)
– Manage hotel data collection and email marketing campaigns
Manage and implement the hotel’s e-commerce strategy to include all online marketing efforts for the property including revenue generation programs, traffic via SEO, search engine marketing, affiliate relationships, email and other online mechanisms.
– Ensure that the hotel website content is always up to date in all available languages, and updated according to CMS guidelines.
Manage strategic alliances with online travel agencies such as Expedia Travel Ads, Booking.com and Expedia
– Attending internal and external training courses and seminars
Attending departmental and hotel meetings as required
Entertaining customers, bloggers and digital partners across all outlets as necessary
– Develop relationships with major digital marketing media players and the travel industry
Building and maintaining positive relationships with Dubai regional offices
Maintain full knowledge of all hotel services/features
– Foster positive relationships with guests and employees
Maintain a high level of knowledge of Hyde product and competitor product
– maintain good relations with counterparts in competing hotels; Promote all Hyde features whenever possible

Personality traits

Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments, and maintain follow-up
Perform the job function independently with minimal supervision, even under pressure, but also work cohesively as a team
– The ability to ensure the security and confidentiality of guest and hotel data
Ability to carry out quality procedures in the hotel, etc.
A clear thinker who can analyze problems and solve them with discretion
– Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Ability to confidently interact with high profile clients and media

qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree

expertise

At least 2+ years of experience in hotel operations, related or preferably in digital marketing and online advertising.
Familiarity with content management systems is a must.
HTML basics and coding knowledge is an asset
Comfortable working with Adobe Creative cloud products
Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools and metrics
Previous experience buying online display ads and coordinating online campaigns
Knowledge of marketing / search engine optimization practices is also an asset
