WSP is looking for a Digital Delivery Manager to join the Project Management Services team to lead digital delivery on high-rise projects in NEOM.
Your new role, what is your role?
* Manage the BIM project managers/coordinator(s) and BIM/CAD technicians including input to QA and quality control for models and drawings.
* Implementation of building information modeling and management systems
Lead and/or assist in the creation of BIM deliverables, collision detection reports, BIM quality control plans, BIM design review procedures, build sequence (4D) and cost estimation (5D), BIM Asset Management Implementation (COBie), electronic specification application
* Understand customer BIM requirements and analyze/implement/implement BIM implementation plans to produce BIM outputs
* Configure and maintain the project’s shared data environment to enable effective management of engineering design outputs.
* Responsible for planning project BIM deliverables and managing effective delivery in accordance with the project plan and BIM implementation plan
* Coordinate BIM issues with design teams to develop and enhance standards with the goal of improving models and BIM deliverables
* Leads the implementation of BIM, standards, workflow modeling, and methodologies during design, construction and project delivery
* Integrate advanced BIM applications including scheduling, costing, asset management, operation and maintenance software into BIM models
* Monitor and guide model progress and usage process for future construction
* Report to the project manager and digital leader in an organized manner
* Minimum content to include: BIM Issue Tracker, BIM audit reports for clash detection, in progress and completed including results, model development status as per trade, work breakdown structure identifier (phases), cost categories, rendering integration/store fee, and requirements Project Close
* Help hone the skills of existing CAD/BIM engineering and project management personnel
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor’s degree in any related engineering (civil, mechanical, etc) or architectural field, or equivalent experience 15+ years of experience and background in modeling, data management and knowledge of best practices in BIM
* Proven ability to lead a team of BIM managers, coordinators and designers as well as support staff already working on these platforms with project-related issues and process questions
* At least 5 years of experience in design and BIM management on large-scale, high-rise projects over 300m in height
* The Middle East experience will be of great benefit
* Compulsory proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Civil 3D will be useful)
* Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks management and BIM360 environment
* Mandatory proficiency in Dynamo scripting and Python.
* Extensive knowledge of BS 8536, PAS 1192, ISO 19650.
Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery and 4D to 7D deliverables at LOD 300 and 350
* Proficiency in Power Bi, MS SharePoint and ACONEX platforms will be an added value
* Experience working within a multinational work environment would be beneficial
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English, understanding of Arabic highly preferred)
