Rome, Oct. 8 (BNA) Brahim Diaz scored a stunning solo goal to help defending champion AC Milan beat Juventus 2-0 in Serie A on Saturday.
Diaz made his mark nine minutes after the end of the first half when he collected the ball in his half and raced forward, beating a number of players before firing a powerful shot past Wojciech Chesney in the Juventus goal.
The San Siro celebration broke out packed into celebration and Diaz whipped his shirt before lifting it over the shoulders of teammate Rafael Liao, according to the Associated Press.
Fikayo Tomori gave Milan the lead in the first half with only his second goal for the club in the league. His first match was also against Juventus.

Hernandez hit it from the left and the ball went out to Olivier Giroud, but his shot was blocked by his colleague Tomori, who adjusted it by rotating and hitting the net from close range.
This was Milan’s first shot on target, although Leão fired both columns. Liao almost doubled Milan’s lead at the beginning of the second half, but his effort narrowly crossed the crossbar.
Milan had a second soon after when Diaz intercepted a stinging pass from Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic and set off on his brilliant career.
