Manama, March 3 (BNA) The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) and the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) signed a memorandum of understanding today in the presence of the Studies Board of Trustees. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The memorandum was signed by the Executive Director of Studies, Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al-Abdullah, and the President of KAPSARC, Eng. Fahad Al-Ajlan, in the presence of officials from the two centers.
The memorandum, which aims to enhance cooperation in the field of energy and climate change research, was concluded on the sidelines of the fifth annual Dirasat Forum held in conjunction with the Second International Expert Symposium for the Middle East and North Africa. The forum was held under the theme “The Impact of the Energy Transition in the Middle East and North Africa”.
