Deputy Prime Minister receives UAE Ambassador

Manama, October 13 (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and thanked him for those following him. – Follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to continue building on the previous large-scale achievements of bilateral cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, given the nature of the unique relations between the two brotherly countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister referred to the efforts of the two countries to strengthen relations between them in line with the aspirations of their leadership to achieve more integration between them for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.

While receiving the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah praised the role played by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, in strengthening the pillars of peace and stability at the global and regional levels. By giving priority to peaceful solutions, consolidating dialogue and understanding, and activating diplomatic mechanisms to resolve disputes.

The two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.

The UAE Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm reception. He also praised his keenness to develop bilateral relations to achieve the aspirations of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
