Deputy Prime Minister receives Kazakh counterpart

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was speaking during his reception at the Gudaibiya Palace today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Teluberdi.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, Minister of Transport and Communications Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, and Minister of Cabinet Affairs Hamad bin Faisal Al-Maliki. And the accompanying delegation of the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa welcomed his Kazakh counterpart, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance relations between the two friendly countries in various fields. They also reviewed regional and international developments and issues of common concern.

The Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and generosity of hospitality, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The Deputy Prime Minister held a luncheon in honor of his Kazakh counterpart and his accompanying delegation.
