Manama, August 16 (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa stressed the importance of the role of the Arab Parliament in promoting joint Arab action. In this context, he praised the efforts of its president, Adel Abdul Rahman Al-Asoma, in serving Arab issues and achieving aspirations through coordinating and unifying positions to serve Arab interests.
This came during a speech by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, when he received in his office at Al-Qudaibiya Palace today, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel Abdul Rahman Al-Asumi. He praised the contribution of the Bahraini people in supporting efforts and achieving the goals that Arab, regional and international organizations aspire to.
The meeting also shed light on issues of common interest.
For his part, the Speaker of the Arab House of Representatives praised the support enjoyed by the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Arab Parliament through its firm keenness to express its positions in support of Arab national action.
