What will you do:
Prepares, arranges and serves all foods according to standards set by the Executive Chef.
– Reports of equipment in the department that requires repairs and maintenance.
– Performs daily routine tasks by himself and in cooperation with his supervisor.
Controls costs by reducing spoilage and wastage and exercising part control.
– Handles machinery, furniture, equipment and utensils in the correct manner and cleans them after use.
– Cleans refrigerators and work tables and ensures work areas are clean at all times.
Follow established procedures and perform special duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
– The chef reports the need for food orders from the store in a timely manner.
Your experience and skills include:
The ability to focus attention on the guest’s needs, and remain calm and polite at all times
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
– At least one year work experience in the same field
