Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA) The Minister of Defense Affairs, Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, today honored the members of the military equestrian team of the Bahrain Defense Force, in the presence of the Chief of Staff. Lieutenant-General Diab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi.
The Minister conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, to the members of the military equestrian showjumping team for winning first place in the 22nd World Military Showjumping Championship that was held in Rio de Janeiro. Al Nuaimi honored the team members and congratulated them on their outstanding performance during the event, stressing that their outstanding achievement adds to the rich record of sporting achievements made during the reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. .
He also praised the team’s administrative and technical staff for the tremendous efforts they made in order to achieve this outstanding achievement.
