DANAT receives Bahrain’s Ambassador to Israel

Manama, September 12 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Israel, Khalid bin Yousef Al-Jalahma, visited the Bahrain Institute of Pearls and Gemstones (Danat), where he was briefed on the local, regional and international services provided by the institute, including research. Studies, training programs and activities on pearls and precious stones.

He was also briefed on the services provided by the Danat Pearl and Gemological Testing Laboratory in verifying and approving pearls, precious stones, coral and amber.

Ambassador and CEO of Danat Nora Jamsheer discussed the institute’s effective role in achieving the Kingdom’s vision of reviving the pearl industry and promoting pearl trade inside and outside Bahrain.

The meeting also discussed setting an executive program to develop relations between the Kingdom and Israel in the fields of scientific research, technology, trade and the jewelry sector.

The program aims to enable Israel to benefit from Danat’s leading expertise in this field and to allow DANAT to use advanced Israeli diamond technology.

The two parties emphasized the vital role that pearls, diamonds and precious stones play in economic and bilateral trade relations, and stressed the importance of cooperation and the role it can play in developing the strengths of the sector, as jewelry, especially diamonds, is deeply rooted in Israel. Economie.

In March, Israel’s Ambassador to Bahrain Eitan Naeh visited Danat Mars to launch a collaborative program.

In addition to its partnership with Malca-Amit, DANAT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to participate in projects of mutual interest in the transportation and storage of collectibles and precious metals in Bahrain.
