Cairo, February 18 (BNA) The Arab Parliamentary Union awarded the Chairperson of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee in the Shura Council, Member of the Arab Parliament, Dalal Jassem Al-Zayed, the Parliamentary Excellence Award.
Al-Zayed praised this honor as a new achievement to be added to Bahrain’s record of parliamentary achievements. She also praised the unwavering support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Bahraini women, which enabled them to play a major role in the development process in the Kingdom.
Al-Zayed received the award today on the sidelines of the Bahraini parliamentary delegation’s participation in the 32nd sessionsecond abbreviation The International Federation of Intellectual Property Conference held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, under the slogan “Arab Solidarity”. The delegation was headed by Parliament Speaker Fawzia Abdullah Zainal.
During the conference, the presidency of the Federation was transferred from the UAE to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
