CSB stresses temporary employment rights

Manama, April 25 (BNA) The Civil Service Bureau said that the total number of temporary employees in ministries and government agencies under the Civil Service Law is 87 in a number of different government agencies.

The Civil Service Bureau said that renewing the contract of a temporary employee or transferring to a permanent job is referred to the government agency.

This comes in accordance with the justifications for the vacant positions available in the organizational structure and the financial approval in accordance with the regulations of the Civil Service Commission.

The Civil Service Bureau stressed the inclusion of the rights of the temporary employee in the provisions of Law No. 13 of 1975 regarding the organization of pensions and retirement benefits for government employees and its amendments, with the issuance of Law No. 43 of 2018.
