what are you going to do

At Chalhoub, there is always a new adventure to discover. As the Creative for Faces Director, you will be responsible for setting strategy, performance, and delivery of all digital and physical content across the company.

Working closely with our creative function, you will act as a custodian of the brand identity by managing priorities and planning the broader communication strategy ensuring that our client community grows in terms of reach and engagement, meeting business KPIs within budget and at scale, and giving visibility to key stakeholders across the team.

Manage and track brand budget and content, ensuring funds are closely monitored, and spending carefully planned
Managing a team of graphic designers and content specialists
– Stay on top of trends both online and offline
Manage overall concepts and creative implementation of all 360 campaigns across all marketing touchpoints
– Review and implement brand book updates throughout the year to ensure it is always up-to-date and evolving
Responsible for all packaging design/branding touch points
Defining and implementing a comprehensive strategy aligned with our business objectives and brand vision, as a multi-channel luxury retailer that explores the relationship between content, commerce and culture
Feed the content team with performance insights, actively fostering a culture of growth as the team regularly looks for opportunities to improve reasoning, distribution, scheduling, and amplification of content within a rigorous and rapid testing and learning environment
Retain ownership and accountability for the performance of our content platform to deliver business KPIs
Manage the brand and content department, ensuring on-time delivery of work and overall quality of implementation in line with brand standards
Collaborate with design and product teams to build exceptional digital interfaces and content experiences that enhance the overall customer experience
Work closely with the Creative team to ensure that the brand image is protected and improved
Partner with the PR and Communications team to co-manage strategic partnerships, events and social media to ensure our online community grows in terms of reach and engagement, through the development of both the original content series and a curated editorial programming schedule
Partnering with the retail marketing team to support in-store programming, providing strategic alignment and consulting so that the overall program aligns with the creative vision of our General Manager
Regularly work with the user experience and marketing team/s to proactively utilize content as a channel to promote and amplify our strategic interests in line with our editorial viewpoint and approach

What you will need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role in beauty for more than 3 years
– Experienced in brand creation and development
Passion for content and strong understanding of production, graphic design and animation
A creative thinker who is not afraid to think outside the box and push boundaries
Management Experience – Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team of graphic and production designers
Ability to lead content strategy for all channels, as well as creative direction in terms of production management with agencies
Solid understanding of social media, e-commerce and the different content required for each platform
– Ability to tell the story every day and feed different social channels with engaging content
Previous experience working in the cosmetology/cosmetic field, especially skincare is essential. Passion for beauty and wellness
Preferably know the Middle East
– Arabic speaking feature
