Manama, December 23 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Rashid Mohammed Bounejema, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the successful launch of the first Bahraini nano-satellite, “Light 1”.
The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives also extended his congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also praised the role of the National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in leading this historic scientific achievement that supports broad-based development goals.
He appreciated the government’s support to empower Bahraini youth and benefit from their potential, which contributes to the Kingdom’s classification among the developed countries.
He expressed the Bahraini people’s thanks and gratitude for the advanced level of cooperation with the UAE in all fields, which resulted in the launch of the “Light-1” nano-satellite.
