North Rixos Qetaifan Island
Opening in mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will consist of a 345-room hotel, along with an 11,000 square meter rental market, a beach club, a theme park, and a water park. The resort will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Set to make its debut ahead of the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform to showcase Qatar as a tourist destination. One of the country’s biggest attractions will be the water park on Qetaifan Island North, the Icon Tower, the tallest tower of its kind in the world, reaching 82 meters in height.
Cost Monitor – Water Park
This position is responsible for calculating the cost of items for the F&B and other areas of the water park and is also responsible for the short and long term planning of cost and pricing aspects.

What will you do:
– Organizing financial management.
The following responsibilities fall under Planning and Organizing, Communication, General Responsibilities, and Management.
– Familiar with daily activities and has product knowledge of all hotel facilities
To ensure the smooth running of the Food and Beverage division through organization and management
Implements and maintains an internal control and audit system, ensuring effective oversight of food and beverage controls and costs.
Maintains effective employee relations.
Prepares and controls work schedules.
To facilitate human resource development and maintain effective communication within the department and with other departments in the hotel.
Receipt and verification of supplier invoices and monthly statements matching invoices and receipt of vouchers against purchase orders and market lists. All goods received without an invoice are recorded separately as goods received without an invoice. Prepares accounts payable vouchers.
Controls and records the flow of goods to and from the following areas: Receiving, Warehouse, Main Kitchen, F&B outlets in the water park.
– Participates in monthly, quarterly and year-end inventories. Physical Inventory reports are prepared for the following: Perpetual Inventories of Food, Beverage, Minibar, Operating Supplies and State Owned Perpetual Inventories are conducted when necessary.
– Determines the daily and monthly food and beverage costs for each outlet, and the daily profit and loss statement is monitored for each outlet, if any.
– Prepares final reports for the end of the month for the following: foods, beverages, minibars and operating supplies.
Takes care of month-end adjustments and related functions in coordination with the Accounting Manager and/or Finance Manager.
Performs any additional duties as requested by the Accounting Manager and/or Finance Manager.
Your experience and skills include:
– At least two years’ experience as a cost controller, preferably in a water park or amusement park.
– Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting
– Fluency in reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
