– Supervising the preservation of accounting data to ensure the availability and accuracy of information.
Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits to ensure timely and accurate information is provided at all times.
Prepare reports from statistical and functional metrics according to established timelines so that all required information is available for review in a timely manner.
Ensure that closing dates are met, general ledger accounts are closed and adjustments are made according to the specified period-end calendar
Validate, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements by identifying, checking and correcting routine errors and anomalies in the input data, so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and legal reports can be issued within legislative time limits.
Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered and maintained and internal customer satisfaction is satisfied by meeting all internal service level agreements and following up on orders in a timely manner.
Assist in the management and development of team members to ensure that management has the required knowledge and competence.
qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree is a plus
4-6 years experience in a similar field
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
