Operate, control, and maintain stable operation of the hydrocracking unit/hydrocracking unit, and LCF technology, including related equipment in an oil refinery, in the safest and most efficient manner to meet desired productivity, maximize yield and meet required specifications.

Minimum of Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
Minimum of 5 years working experience in operating a control panel / residual hydrocracking unit / micro LC unit / hydrocracking unit in an oil refinery.
Additional experience in fluidized beds, electronic beds, nuclear detectors and catalyst handling unit.
Must have demonstrated proficiency to operate the Control Panel by achieving better than minimum qualification criteria set by the department including simulation training or other proficiency tests, as applicable.
Must be familiar with the use of DCS (Distributed Control System) / Analog Control System, Advanced Process Control, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems as required in the area of ​​responsibility.
Must have detailed knowledge of all equipment and procedures related to unit operations, emergencies, shutdowns, facility start-up activities, maintenance and safety.
Able to handle stress during abnormal operations/emergency operations of the assigned unit
Good verbal and written communication in English.
