Michael Page Property & Construction is working with an industry-leading contractor in Qatar to deliver the airport terminal project. They need a Contracts Manager to join the project on an urgent basis.

Responsibilities:
• Provide responses to bids, offers and contract negotiations.
• Preparing RFPs for distribution to vendors.
• Develops a set of standard contracts for the company.
• Analyze all requirements and provisions contained in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Ensures that contracts are executed in accordance with company guidelines.
• Research is conducted before contracts are written.
• Auditing existing contracts and supervising contract modifications.
• Analyze contract risks to business.
• Visits clients’ sites and meets with business partners.
• Monitors the performance of each site contract.
• Ensures that business objectives are achieved through contract execution.
• Train and supervise other contracting professionals.
• Relates to the implementation of the contract for subordinates.
• Maintains a computer database for the company’s contract management system.
• Performs an analysis of new laws and regulations and contract trends to determine the potential impact on business.
• Coordinates with the financial department to ensure correct billing and contractual revenue collection.
• Ensures that contracts are in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Leads complex contract negotiations and manages all changes in and extensions to existing contracts.
• Identify potential improvements to current policies.
• Prepare reports on the status of contracts for management.
• Conducts special projects as assigned.
• Negotiates and supervises lease agreements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree in Engineering is an advantage
• Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience in the construction industry
• Experience in contract preparation and management.
• Possesses working knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Has knowledge of international contract law and merger and acquisition systems.
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Has strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Possesses excellent skills in persuasion, negotiation and judgment.
• Displays exceptional management skills.
• Has a working knowledge of financial analyzes and the effects of profit and loss.
