Job description and summary
A career in financial advisory services will provide the opportunity to work alongside CEOs, CFOs, controllers and treasurers to improve the structure of their financial functions and improve their contribution to the business. We support our clients by meeting the challenges of achieving appropriate standards of oversight, effective back office opportunities, and supporting business through insight and challenge.
Business unit and role overview
You will work within the Finance Functions Effectiveness team, which provides advisory services focused on the CFO’s agenda. The team works across a wide range of industries and delivers projects throughout the Middle East region. The work we usually do includes:
Define the finance function strategy and design the finance function operating model
– Designing the organizational structure for financing
Develop financial policies and operations
Cost design and corporate performance management
As a competency, it will support many sectors of the industry. However, we expect you to bring experience in industrial products, telecommunications, the financial sector, oil and gas or the government sector.
Qualifications/educational background
– MBA or MBA – Finance and/or Technology (Preferred)
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Technology

10-15 years experience in an industry/similar role
requirements
Arabic language skills are mandatory
Experience in conducting financial job evaluations and providing opportunity to pilots
Experience in providing hands-on implementation experience in end-to-end operations (order for cash, log to report, purchase to pay) covering design and implementation
Experience in designing operating models, governance and communications frameworks within the finance function
Good understanding of change management and training needs to be adopted in client environments
Experience in implementing and/or supervising the implementation of full lifecycle ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or other)
– Proven track record in professional services sales of $1M – $1.5M annually
– Proven track record of revenue under management (oversight and oversight of implementation) of US$1.5 million
Proven experience in delivering high quality strategic engagements across multiple industries
Strong interest and passion for development, growth and team leadership through advanced coaching and mentoring, as well as proactive knowledge sharing.
Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East or where project requirements dictate.
