the opportunity
Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) supports organizations with a variety of services that include accounting and reporting, financial function transformation, transaction accounting, treasury, corporate governance, performance improvement and other services that help organizations navigate evolving business needs, and greater demands for transparency. and changing regulatory requirements.
Your main responsibilities
In this role, you will engage in accounting consulting duties, act as a team member, share responsibility, provide support, maintain communication, update senior team members on progress, help prepare for meetings with target management teams, participate in these meetings and assist in Preparing reports and schedules for clients and other parties.
You will also develop and maintain productive working relationships with client staff and build strong internal relationships within the EY Assurance business and across other services.
Contributing to people initiatives, including hiring and retaining assurance professionals, will form part of your role as well as maintaining an educational program to continually develop the personal skills of employees.

To qualify for this role, you must have
Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce
– At least four years of professional experience in an accounting or consulting position
Familiarity with transaction services and transformation projects
Understand risk-based audit, risk and control strategies
Experienced in writing policies and procedures, compliance or internal audit, internal controls and risk management
Ideally, you will also have
– Proven track record with a leading consulting firm
Flexibility to travel across the Middle East and North Africa region
