Your role and responsibilities
The Security Software Sales Specialist will be responsible for achieving their sales targets to facilitate strong, yet controlled growth goals. Duties in this position include, but are not limited to:
* Gaining new accounts through prospecting, networking and strategic partnerships
* Qualifying opportunities for scoping and development of proposal solutions
* Identify potential cybersecurity requirements
* Involve technical resources, as appropriate, to ensure the company overcomes any technical objections in the sales cycle
* Develop trusted relationships at the senior management level in the organization’s accounts and develop and maintain their trust
* Successfully present our strategy and solution offerings
* Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings / conference calls
* Travel (as needed) to partner events, forecasts and locations
* Handling presentations at conferences and proactively communicating with potential clients and clients to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
* Develop and follow a behavior-based sales plan that is reviewed weekly
* Develop and maintain relationships internally and ensure a high level of teamwork and collaboration with support staff and other functions within the company
*Other duties assigned

Technical and professional experience required
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Experience as a security software vendor or business development manager
* Good knowledge of public security techniques and offerings
* A track record of over 5 years selling managed IT and/or security solutions
* Experience designing and providing solutions to meet customer needs
*Excellent Communication Skills
* Professional presentation skills
* Collaborative, principled, self-motivated attitude; team player
*Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skill
* Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills with the ability to work closely with line managers and employees at all levels
*Excellent attention to detail
