Conference focuses on success stories of people of determination

Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA): Under the auspices of the Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, the Bahraini Association for the Disabled and Motivated People organized a conference entitled “Successes of People of Determination”.

Sahar Rashid Al-Mannai from the Ministry of Social Development, Riyadh Al-Marzouq, Chairman of the Civil Society Development Authority, and Riyad Al-Marzouq, a number of dignitaries and civil societies participated in the conference.

In his speech to the conference, the Undersecretary affirmed that the Kingdom pays great attention to people with special needs, as they are among the pillars of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad. Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in order to preserve and improve their gains, as well as to provide them with comprehensive protection so that they can enjoy full equality with their peers in society.

She also praised the humanitarian and development efforts made by the Bahrain Catalyst Society for People with Disabilities.

She praised the theme of the conference, which aims to open wider horizons for people of determination and highlight their success stories.
