College of Arts hosts graduation ceremony

Manama, Jan. 28 (BNA): A total of 733 students, representing batches of 2017-2021, graduated during a ceremony held by the Faculty of Arts.


This event came within the framework of the University of Bahrain’s 24th graduation ceremony, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


The total number of students who graduated from the Faculty of Arts this year is 2209, of whom 733 studied Arabic literature and media.


The Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Abdulaziz Bolila, delivered a speech at the graduation ceremony that was held on the campus of the University of Bahrain in Sakhir.


He said that last year the College of Arts obtained an international accreditation certificate from the British Accreditation Agency (ASIC), with the highest rating, which is the “excellent college”.


He attributed the achievement to the support of the university administration, faculty members, academic and administrative staff in the Faculty of Arts.


Dr. congratulated. Bouleela congratulated the graduates for their remarkable achievements, describing them as emerging leaders who will contribute to building a prosperous future.


He affirmed the college’s commitment to continuing to develop its academic programs, to modernize undergraduate and postgraduate studies, to keep pace with the requirements of the changing labor market, and to keep pace with global steps.


Dr. confirmed. Bolila emphasized the importance of local, regional and global academic partnerships in achieving the goals and aspirations of the Faculty of Arts.

The graduates then received their certificates from the Vice President of the University of Bahrain for Information Technology Services, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, in the presence of their parents and relatives.
