As a cluster revenue manager, your goal is to maximize core revenue across the cluster to increase market share. She will manage all aspects of the day-to-day revenue management of our three properties – The Fairmont The Palm, Mövenpick JLT and the recently opened Th8 Palm by Accor.

Responsibilities:

– Review market trends and compare with the competition.
Conducts analysis of special and city-wide events, and implements revenue management strategies to maximize demand generators. Closely monitor competitors for shift in demand, price and strategy.
Drive revenue generation initiatives to improve initial revenue across all BUs and all revenue centers in close collaboration with sales and marketing departments.
Maintains price integrity
Maintains short term room revenue forecasts to assist in making business decisions.
Ensure the optimization of all distribution channels related to Accor.
Proactive participation in weekly cluster strategy meetings.
Maximize the use of revenue optimization tools including, but not limited to, IDEAs, Demand360, and OTA Insight.
Communicates revenue management strategies to the room reservations team and other teams as required
Generally responsible for management in the absence of a cluster manager to manage total revenue

Qualifications and requirements:

– Problem solving skills
A systematic and logical approach
– Accuracy and attention to detail
– At least 2 years experience in a Revenue Manager role
– Knowledge of Accor’s distribution and reservation systems is a must because the group works with 3 different groups
Experience working in resorts is an added advantage
– Already working on block preparation would be perfect
