Bahrain ranks first on the Nikkei’s COVID-19 Recovery Index.

Riyadh, Dec. 20 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain ranked first on the Nikkei index of recovering from COVID-19 disease.

The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, through its official account on Twitter, announced the achievement of Bahrain.

She said, “This is an achievement for the Kingdom of Bahrain in particular and the Gulf in general,” describing the classification as a catalyst for the transition from the stage of treating the virus to the stage of global recovery.

The Nikkei Bahrain was based on three main pillars – low rate of existing cases, vaccination rates and adherence to mandatory precautionary measures.

The Director-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Health Council, Sulaiman Al-Dakhil, attributed the global achievement to the Bahraini leadership’s steadfast support to protect the safety of citizens and residents during the pandemic.
