Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): The Ministry of Works announced that the improvement works of Al-Fateh Expressway at its intersection with Awal Street require closures as follows:
Complete closure of the intersection and diversion of traffic to the new U-Turn flyover for northbound traffic coming from Al Fateh Expressway and Awal Street, and a free back flow will be provided for southbound traffic coming from Bani Utbah Street.
One lane will be closed in stages in both directions and two lanes will be provided for traffic.
The closure will be in effect from Friday 1am to Sunday 5am.
Partial closure of the intersection and diverting traffic to the new U-Turn flyover for northbound traffic coming from Al Fateh Expressway and Awal Street. Two lanes will be provided for those coming from Bani Utbah Street towards Awal in the east and Al Fateh Road in the north. The lockdown will be effective from Sunday and will last for six months.
