Climate Affairs Special Envoy meets Jordanian Environment Minister

Sharm El-Sheikh, Nov. 17 (BNA): The Minister of Oil and Environment and the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah, met with the Jordanian Minister of Environment, Dr. Moawiya Al-Radaydah, on the sidelines of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27). ).

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, especially in the environmental field, and ways to enhance cooperation.

The meeting also reviewed the most important outcomes, objectives and recommendations of the conference, which represent the world’s efforts in facing the challenges of climate change and achieving environmental security.

They indicated Bahrain’s interest and support for all international efforts to achieve climate goals.

Al-Radaydah stressed the strength of the Bahraini-Jordanian relations and his country’s interest in expanding bilateral cooperation in the environmental field.

He also praised Bahrain’s progress in the areas of sustainable development.
