Your role and responsibilities

CTS, Turbnomic will

Act as a deep solution and subject matter technical expert for application resource management/application performance management/monitoring opportunities and leverage your experience for successful pre-sales operations
Work with potential clients and customers to demonstrate the value of the Turbonomic solution and its relationship to the AIOPS family of technologies
Actively participate in the development and advancement of qualified IBM Turbonomic / APM / Observability opportunities with the IBM sales team
– Demonstrate Turbonomic display at customer sites, remote to customers, and at field events
Deliver effective proof-of-concept with customers that show how IBM Turbonomic adds value to customer business
Enable, support and work with the IBM Business Partner system.
Collaborate with other internal IBM teams to achieve unparalleled customer satisfaction.
Maintaining an understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends and industry business processes.
Collaborate with IBM sales teams to define, design and detail technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.
Support technical customer escalation, on-site health checks, sharing of best practices, and solution design; And answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to identify/progress/close sales and develop customer relationships.

Technical expertise

– IT Operations and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Knowledge of the role of traditional IT Operations Engineers (ITOps), the tools they typically use and the weaknesses they encounter
Understand how the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) handles processes to ensure that consistently delivered applications run efficiently and reliably using software engineering and automation solutions.
The ability to assess where the customer is in their journey from traditional IT operations to SRE, and the ability to demonstrate and demonstrate the value of IBM Turbonomic to help them transition.
– Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts
Kubernetes Experience:
Knowledge of building and operating clusters effectively on the Kubernetes platform
Understand open source and basic concepts around storage, networking, security, trouble shooting, and management
Knowledge of Cloud Platform and in one of the following: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform/Anthos, Amazon/AWS, and IBM Public Cloud
Understand the architecture of container applications and microservices.
Strong Linux skills CTS and Turbnomic will:

Technical and professional experience required

3+ years of experience selling and supporting software products for IT organizations.
1+ year experience with one or more of the leading AIOps in Application Performance Management (APM), or monitoring offerings on the market today (eg Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, App Dynamics, Splunk, SumoLogic, Devo)
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong observation skills
– Strong problem solving skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

Knowledge of IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOPS.
