Chief Executive of Cybersecurity opens workshop

Manama, July 5 (BNA) Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Center for Cyber ​​Security, inaugurated a workshop on cybersecurity rules in the health sectors. The center was organized in cooperation with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), and the opening was attended by senior health officials.

The CEO expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Interior for his continued support to enhance cyber security in Bahrain by enhancing capabilities to counter threats as part of Bahrain Vision 2030.

The workshop reviewed the security rules for the health sector in Bahrain in line with international best practices by strengthening protection systems.

He said that the workshop discussed the draft policy of cybersecurity rules in the health sector, including the basic requirements for hospitals and health institutions to protect their systems and networks.
