Job title

The Senior Accountant will lead the Department of Finance and associated operations such as account management, reporting, and interdepartmental and supplier relationships to improve hotel profitability.
Ensure that finance teams submit month-end closing and all other required management reports
Work with the Finance Manager to provide complete and accurate forecast and budget proposals within the hotel
Prepare capital reviews as required by the Director of Finance and/or Accounting and Finance
Develop financial accounting best practices, control procedures, and continuous review of the process and procedures to achieve maximum impact and efficiency
Ensure that balance sheets are a fair reflection of the hotels’ assets and liabilities
Leads monthly financial update meetings with the Operations Manager/Hotel team
Comply with hotel/company policies and procedures across the region, and maximize performance on the Balanced Scorecard for Finance
– Reviewing balance sheets and ensuring that adjustments are made
Assist department heads in improving their financial awareness and providing them with financial information relevant to their operations
Works with the Personnel Department in monitoring payroll, payroll budgets and procedures.
Initiates, supervises and immediately checks all stocks taken from stocks and fixed assets.
– Staff, trains, and supervise, evaluate, and promote the staff of the Monitoring Department.
Audit, supervise and control all purchases, expenses, payroll and hotel expenses.
Issuing the monthly financial report and all documents required by the company
