What will you do:
Flows in both rooms and food and beverage, including a marketing plan for how to achieve this.
Oversee the city ledger, general ledger, guest ledger and payroll within the Accounting and Finance department and ensure proper operation of the Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait accounting system.
Ensure that all relevant journals and financial reports are submitted for future reference.
Assist and encourage the implementation and simplification of internal control procedures covering all hotel activities.
Oversee accounting officials across all departments, ensuring that through effective scheduling, cross-training, multi-skilled employees, and use of productive technology is maximized.
Support the preparation of any required statistical reports from all sources including management, MH&R or local authorities.
Be fully familiar with the MH&R accounting system and the issuance of the Standard System of Accounts for the Hospitality Industry.
Ensure that all financial reports are submitted accurately and on time.
Ensure the smooth running of the accounting department and refer those related matters to the Finance Manager.
Your experience and skills include:
– The former former in a similar job is basically required
Clearly communicate ideas, actions, and opportunities with strong communication skills
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the stage for high performance
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
– Kuwaiti transferable visa holders (18)
