To operate and monitor all systems, including CCTV, within the control room in a professional and efficient manner. To ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information acquired through compliance with Vermont quality standards and legislation.

Summary of responsibilities:

To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with security operating procedures, legislation and code of practice/ethics.
Liaise with police, service providers and relevant internal departments to ensure proper use of the system.
Include all evidentiary records and witness statements in accordance with an acceptable standard of evidence
Providing an efficient and courteous answering service to telephone and radio calls and dealing efficiently with all inquiries.
To inform the Security Supervisor of equipment failure to maximize system operation.
To maintain a secure data provisioning system in accordance with the regulations set by the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) and to ensure that the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times.
To maintain the provision of information required by the Assistant Principal, security and assist in monitoring the CCTV system in accordance with SIRA regulations and the continuity and acceptance of evidence materials.
Be aware of your health and safety responsibilities including appropriate health and safety training.
Conduct periodic checks on all “field” officers to ensure that they are vigilant and perform their duties efficiently and effectively
Assist in conducting investigations and preparing investigation reports accompanying cases that occur inside the hotel
Marking the movements of employees classified as suspects under investigation
Maintaining security and order within the hotel premises in dealing with criminals, trespassers or difficult personalities
Conduct periodic and periodic checks and take immediate follow-up actions on all systems including the CCTV system.
– Attending meetings and in-service training conducted by the department.
The CCTV system operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As such, the CCTV operator will be required to operate on a shift basis to provide full coverage of the system.

qualifications:

– At least 2 years experience and similar ability in a 5-star hotel.
Knowledge of the operation of the CCTV system.
– SIRA CCTV operator license.
Minimum secondary education
