CBB’s Treasury Bills oversubscribed by 378%

Manama, July / BNA / The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that it has exceeded the subscription of the monthly issuance of government treasury bills, amounting to 35 million Bahraini dinars, by 378%.

Bills of exchange due within 182 days are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.

The bond issue date is July 31 and the maturity date is January 29, 2023.

The weighted average interest rate is 3.98% compared to 4.17% for the previous issue dated June 26, 2022.

The approximate average issue price was 98.025%, and the lowest acceptable price was 98.017%.

This is Issue No. 1923 (ISIN BH000DJ5N121) of Government Treasury Bills.

The total outstanding value of government treasury bills amounted to BD 2.010 billion.
