CBB Sukuk Al Ijara oversubscribed by 182%

Manama, November 1 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that the monthly issue of short-term Islamic leasing bonds “Sukuk Ijarah” has exceeded 182% of oversubscription.

Subscriptions of BD 47.363 million were received for the BD 26 million issue, which has a maturity of 182 days.

The expected return on the issue, which begins on November 3 and matures on May 4, 2023, is 5.20% compared to 4.70% for the previous issue on October 6.

Ijara Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.
