Charterhouse is working with a reputed F&B company in Qatar looking to hire a Area/Country Operations Manager to support their team. You will report to the Country General Manager and will work closely on both internal branding, franchise projects and consultancy.
Your main responsibilities will be to manage and oversee the company’s multi-brand central kitchen and casual/upscale dining locations. You will also support business across projects both internally and for clients such as operational contract, pre-opening support and restaurant development via casual and loft dining.
The successful candidate must be an experienced Operations Manager, having managed multiple locations and completed multiple openings within an informal dinner. Must have full openings experience from sourcing locations, contract negotiation, liaison with owners, contractor management, costs, brand and concept development through to launch and ongoing operations.
You must be a motivated, hard-working person who thrives on working independently. The ideal candidate must be flexible and practical, consistently representing the company and its clients to the highest standards.
Experience within a quick casual or QSR is required for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently working in Qatar although candidates with previous experience in Qatar may also be considered. Speaking Arabic may be an advantage but not a must, but strong written and spoken English communication skills are a must.
