Manama, August 18 (BNA) Capital Governor Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa praised the great efforts made by the security services during Ashura commemoration, in implementation of the directives of the Council of Ministers headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad. Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also praised the follow-up of the Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to ensure that the Ashura celebration was organized in good conditions.
The governor of the capital was speaking while presiding over the meeting of the security committee, in the presence of representatives of the security departments of the Ministry of Interior.
The committee discussed preparations for the national celebrations next December to ensure the safety of all participants in coordination with the security directorates and relevant government agencies. It also discussed the traffic plan prepared by the General Traffic Department in conjunction with the expected return to schools. The plan aims to secure the safety of students, ensure the flow of traffic and prevent traffic jams.
The Capital Governor directed to continue the role of the committees to modify the conditions of joint housing, in coordination with the relevant government agencies, to ensure that the security, safety and health requirements are met. He also directed that the Informal Employment Monitoring Committee continue its work in coordination with the concerned authorities in order to address the negative effects associated with any violations.
