Job title
Filters all purchase orders on ships intended for products and services, and accordingly works with requirements to close ship orders.
Ensures that all purchase requisitions/orders are encrypted in the ERP system in an efficient, timely and error-free manner.
Handles all purchases under BPAs and purchase contracts, ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability, timeliness and cost-effectiveness of RVOS purchases
Responsible for ensuring that BPA related purchase orders/contracts are issued in a timely and efficient manner.
Preparing quotation comparison sheets to evaluate supplier prices and lead times.
Follow up on obtaining the required approval and avoiding delays in purchase transactions
– Resolves changes and discrepancies, and thus updates purchase order information
Supports ships and head office departments in developing the annual procurement plan and budget
Ensures proper coordination with warehousing and logistics functions to handle purchases executed and their delivery
Follow up with ship suppliers, OEMs or manufacturers to ensure orders are shipped on time and are in line with the company’s purchase order
– Performs various tasks assigned by the line manager
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain | Mechanical or electrical engineering.
At least 2-4 years of experience in performing local and international procurement tasks.
A keen follower of daily activities.

– Ability to work well under pressure and work quickly and decisively
Good knowledge of marine products and the local market.
Good knowledge in the use of Oracle or any similar ERP system.
