Our Client Is Now Recruiting Business Development Consultant – Middle East. You will report directly to the Director – Certifications and Standards. This position will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

responsibilities

Develop, lead and implement a sales, promotion and marketing strategy to drive the growth of RoadMasters business development in the region
Develop sales cases: identifying leads, interacting with customers and managing sales opportunities from cold lead to agreement signing
Achieving agreed sales targets within the specified region
– Analyzing and evaluating the markets and competitive landscape
– Lead and manage sales campaigns, initiate and create leads for customer engagement
– Identify and participate in industrial events to promote the company and its services and gain recognition
– Provide persuasive offers and service offers to the RoadMasters company
Ensure competent, professional and timely pre-sales product support including handling key customer inquiries
Create and ensure effective management of customer data, including maintaining customer data in appropriate records systems (eg CRM)
Manage relationships with key clients/partners of certification in the region and maintain excellent relationships with road transport stakeholders in the region, in order to identify more opportunities for the company to improve road transport services by identifying and winning additional advisory technical assistance services.
Liaise regularly with the company’s C&S team to prioritize and coordinate business development efforts and give insights into local market trends and needs
Prepare recommendations based on the research conducted and contribute to the promotion of new business models

main relationships

External: Company members, primary users of our services, transportation operators, freight forwarders, and major shippers, as well as ministries of transportation, and international and regional financing institutions.

Internally: Director – Certifications & Standards, Certification & Standards team, Regional Corporate Advisors, Strategic Market Intelligence & Finance.

Qualifications and experience
– University degree in Business Administration, Commerce or any related subject
10+ years of experience in the following areas:
– Logistics services
– road transport
– Shipping goods
Professional training and certifications
– talent management
– Proven track record in business development – generating new revenue for new products/services
– Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
Travel: 50% – within the GCC region, sometimes to Geneva and other locations
