BTS holds first in-person concert in 2 years in LA

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 (U.S.): The sexy K-pop group BTS held their first in-person concert in two years in Los Angeles on Saturday, attracting nearly 50,000 American fans.

Saturday’s concert at SoFi Stadium in the US city marks the first non-virtual concert to be held in September since 2019, when the group performed in Seoul, Yonhap reported.

Tens of thousands of fans queued outside the stadium, and some fans flocked to the band’s merchandise booth.

BTS opened the show by performing their blockbuster hits, including “Dynamite” and “Butter.”

Under the title “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – Los Angeles,” BTS’s concert will also take place on Sunday and next week.

BTS’ concerts have caused quite a stir among their global fan base, the Army, and all concert tickets have already been sold out.

With the easing of travel restrictions under the “Living with COVID-19” scheme, famous K-pop stars are heading abroad to perform concerts with foreign fans. BTS is at the forefront of the movement.

Before and after Los Angeles concerts, BTS’s schedule will be crowded in the United States.

She will be on stage with American rapper Megan Thay Stallion for a joint performance of “Butter” at the 2021 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday. BTS has been nominated into three categories – Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo or Group, and Favorite Pop Song for the movie Butter.

The band will also appear on CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and perform “Permission to Dance” on Tuesday.
