BTEA’s CEO: Private sector’s cooperation helps tourism prosperity

Manama, November 9 (BNA) Dr. Nasser Qaidi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, said that operating two beaches in Bahrain Bay in partnership with the private sector helps increase the sector’s cooperation in tourism projects.

He added that this step will raise the level of diversification and development of tourist attractions in Bahrain to achieve the strategic goals of the tourism sector 2022-2026.

Qaidi said that the development of marine facades and activities is an essential pillar of the seven pillars of the tourism sector strategy within the economic recovery plan, which will promote the growth and prosperity of the tourism sector, in addition to business tourism, leisure tourism, sports tourism, culture, archeology, history, medical tourism, media and cinema.

The CEO stressed the authority’s keenness to cooperate with the private sector to work together productive projects to help in the growth of the tourism sector.
