Brasilia, December 14 (BNA) The Speaker of the Brazilian House of Representatives, Arthur Lira, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Brasilia, Bader Abbas Al-Halibi.
During the meeting, Arthur Lira expressed his pride in the remarkable progress witnessed by the relations between the two friendly countries, citing the success of the visit paid by President Jair Bolsonaro, President of the Federal Republic of Brazil, to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Constructive talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the opening of the Brazilian Embassy in Manama, and the signing of a number of cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding. He also affirmed his keenness to support the efforts made to strengthen the distinguished relations between the two countries in all fields.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Brasilia expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen friendship and cooperation relations with Brazil, stressing the importance of coordination and joint cooperation between the two friendly countries at the parliamentary level.
During the meeting, they reviewed important issues of common interest, which would benefit the two friendly countries and peoples.
