Bogdanovic scores 29, Hawks beat Pacers 132-123

Indianapolis, March 29 (BUS): Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 29 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks at the expense of the Indiana Pacers 132-123 on Monday night.

Clint Capella and Kevin Huerter each contributed 22 points and Capella added 15 rebounds for the Hawks, who finished 10th in the Eastern Group. Trae Young scored 14 points and 16 assists, the Associated Press reported.

Buddy Heald scored 26 points for the Pacers, who lost four consecutive games and were eliminated in the playoffs. Therese Halliburton scored 25 points with 13 assists. Kiefer Sykes added 16 points for Nydiana, scoring 4 of 6 3-pointers.

Atlanta scored 54.7% overall while Indiana scored 52.3%. The Hawks had 40-28 rebounding points and made 13 spins, one less than the Pacers. The Pacers trimmed the deficit to 94-88 with 3:11 left in the third quarter, but the Hawks led 102-90 when the quarter ended.

Indiana closed the gap to 121-112, but the Hawks prevented them from getting too close.

The Pacers only had eight players. O’Shea Brisset warmed up but was ruled out before the match due to back pain.

Atlanta led by as much as 18 points in the first half and was leading 74-63 in the first half.
