BNA stand a hit at GMC 2022 launch edition in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, Nov. 17 (BNA): The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) concluded its participation in the Global Media Conference (GMC) 2022 with a high note of satisfaction with the results and passionate expectations for the future.


The Emirates News Agency (WAM) organized GMC 2022, and it was attended by more than 1,200 participants, specialists and global influencers, and it included more than 30 panel discussions and workshops, in which more than 162 international speakers participated.


The participation, led by the Director General of the Tunisian News Agency, Abdullah Khalil Buheji, was part of the Ministry of Information’s strategy to exchange experiences with regional and international media institutions, gain insight into the latest developments, keep abreast of technological development in the media and artificial intelligence, and learn more about the latest ways to face challenges.


The Tunisian News Agency, with the support of the organizers, set up a pavilion at the conference headquarters, and the agency’s representatives reported a high turnout by visitors, especially media personalities, who showed interest in cooperating with the Tunisian News Agency for media coverage, taking into account the Kingdom’s position. A leading role in the media.


The Tunisian News Agency has great experience in the field of media, as it was the first news agency in the Gulf region, and was called the Gulf News Agency from 1978 to 2003.


The representatives briefed the visitors on the agency’s activities and commitments with regard to writing, editing, translating reports and producing content in Bahrain and abroad.

The platform also highlighted the important role of the social media team in ensuring correct information is disseminated from reliable sources – a feature that has boosted the news agency’s credibility, particularly during challenging times such as the COVID pandemic.
