BIC’s most thrilling on-track experiences are back for another exciting season

Manama, October 10 (BNA) The Bahrain International Circuit is bringing back the best motorsport experiences by launching this weekend three of its most popular activities for the 2021/2022 season.

Racing fans can expect the sheer excitement of Friday, October 15, when BIC’s open track night along with the SR3 and Clio Cup for passenger car rides will be available to enjoy at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

All events will take place along the 2,550-kilometre BIC indoor track between 4pm and 11pm, giving participants the opportunity to take on the circuit in daylight, in twilight and at night under state-of-the-art floodlights at the Bahrain Information Centre.

To protect the health of all involved, strict protocols must be followed by all participants. Regardless of the participants, additional drivers and passengers will be allowed to book.

In Open Track, participants can bring their own car or motorcycle for a chance to explore their frontiers in a safe and controlled environment.

Driver etiquette is paramount, so there is no close or aggressive overtaking. Overtaking is by calling between turns and driving is monitored, with bad or dangerous driving quickly dealt with by officials.

Open Track Night can be availed at a price of 110.5 BHD for the whole night and 79 BHD for a half night. The cost of one session is 42 BD.

Those who pre-booked the slot machines can take advantage of discounted rates. The full night will be only BHD 94.5, the half night will be BHD 68.5 and a single session is BHD 31.5.

Registration is scheduled for 3 PM onwards.

Aside from the Open Track activity, SR3 and Clio Cup passengers can also be enjoyed.

The SR3 Radical features the RPE-Suzuki Generation 1,340 DOHC engine. It can go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.4 seconds, has a six-speed sequential gearbox and a paddle gearbox. The cost of a passenger ride is 3 SAR, 37 Bahraini dinars.

The Clio Cup is a racing machine made by Renault and features a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that can produce up to 220 horsepower at 6000 rpm. The passenger experience can be purchased for 26,500 BHD.

Motorsports enthusiasts have this and much more to look forward to at the Bahrain International Circuit this season.
